THE Pan Asia Academy of Facial Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (PAAFPRS) invites researchers, scholars, and medical professionals to submit their research papers for the annual conference to be held in New Delhi from February 2-4, 2024.

We welcome original research works, video session, and provides opportunity to display their creativity or their innovations in how I do it session, Senior & Junior consultant Award session,free papers along with posters in field of Rhinoplasty, Facial plastic procedures, Maxillofacial trauma , orthognathic surgery, Post cancer reconstruction in Head and Neck, that explore new horizons and discoveries in the field of facial plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. All papers will be reviewed by our team of experts, and selected papers will be presented during the conference.

To submit your research paper, please visit our website (paafprs.org) and follow the submission guidelines. The deadline for submission is 25th Dec 2023. Registration is compulsory prior to submission of abstract.

General Information

Abstracts are welcomed in the field of Facial plastic surgery, Facial aesthetic surgery, Rhinoplasty and Aesthetic medicine. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation during congress sessions. Submissions can only be made through our website and will be reviewed by the Scientific Board.

Abstracts must be written in English in Word File. All the presentations will be in English language.

There will be a separate award category for each section for the Senior Consultants(Age >40 years) and Junior Consultants (Age <40 years)
Presenting author is to be highlighted in bold and underlined.
The abstract accepted for conference will be notified to author by email about its acceptance and other details.
Accepted presenters must adhere to deadlines and guidelines and promptly respond to communication.
Use the Font type Times new roman and Font Size 12
The Abstract written should not exceed 500 words.
The abstract should contain the following subtitles.
Introduction
Aims & Adjectives
Materials & Methods
Results
Conclusion

By submitting an abstract, the author agrees to fully disclose any conflict of interest. Failure to disclose commercial support will automatically lead to a rejection of the submitted abstract.

Deadline for receipt

Abstracts and videos should be submitted by 25th Dec 2023

Confirmation of receipt

Receipt of the abstract will be acknowledged by e-mail immediately after submission. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent after 25th Dec 2023.

Registration

The presenting author of each abstract/video has to compulsorily Register Prior to sending abstract. The post graduates should present bonafide permission /certificate from their respective Institution for attending the conference.

Oral Presentation

The presentation will be included within a conference room or an “open stage” session in the exhibition area. The duration allotted for various segment are as mentioned below

  • Key note Speaker /Masterclass Duration 20 minutes.
  • Invited faculty Lecture 12 minutes
  • Free Paper 8 minutes
  • The format will be PowerPoint or Keynote presentation which may include video(s).

  • Each presenter will be given above mentioned stipulated time as per allocated category and has to abide by the same. As the schedule of presentation sessions is tight it is of utmost importance that all presenters are ready and in time for their presentations and check the presentation with the technical support of audio visual team prior to presentation.
  • Make sure your PowerPoint presentation is in 16:9 ratio (1,920 x 1,080 pixels).
  • Videos must be embedded in PowerPoint.
  • Do not use links to YouTube or other webservices in your presentation
  • Video Presentation/ How I do it

    The video presenter should have been part of the operating team or the primary operating surgeon should be a co-author for the abstract.

    The abstract should mention the details of the video, such as the Introduction (why the video is being presented), Method (what the procedure is), and Conclusion.

    Time for a Video presentation - 07 mins.

    Poster Presentation

  • Recommended guidelines:
  • Duration 10 mins
  • The size of the poster should be: 40" x 59" or 1X1.5 Sq.Mts.
  • Use large text (your text should be at least 18-24 pt; headings 30-60 pt; title >72pt.
  • Posters should have the following information.
  • Title (with authors and affiliations)
  • Introduction / Objectives / Aims
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • References
  • Acknowledgements
  • Contact information
  • Poster should be placed at the allotted places 2 hours prior to the poster session and can be removed at the end of the day.

    Keep your poster presentation to 10 minutes per visitor/judge (8 min discussion & 2 min query session).

    Each poster can be presented by maximum 2 presenters during the poster evaluation.

    Carry your poster to the meeting, using tubular packaging or a portfolio case.
